# Templates

Printable forms and checklists for the everyday jobs of looking after people. Use them today, with no email address needed.

## Pick a template

- [Manager checklist template for people tasks](https://hrhive.co.uk/templates/manager-checklist/) — A monthly check that the people tasks in your team have not slipped. It covers new starters, probation reviews, holiday and absence, expiring cards and documents, incidents and leavers. Print one a month.
- [Probation review form template](https://hrhive.co.uk/templates/probation-review/) — A form for a probation review conversation. It helps you prepare, keep the discussion specific and fair, and record what was said and decided, including the outcome and the date of the next review.
- [Training acknowledgement form template](https://hrhive.co.uk/templates/training-acknowledgement/) — Record that a person took part in a piece of training, what it covered and who delivered it, with a renewal date where one applies. Use one form for each person and each session, signed by both sides.

## How the templates work

1. **Pick the one that fits**: Each template says what it is for and lists the fields it covers, so you can see whether it is the right one before you use it.
2. **Print it or save it as a PDF**: The page shows the template as a sheet. Use your browser to print it or save it as a PDF, then fill it in.
3. **Keep it with the person**: A completed form belongs with the person's record. Keep it with their other documents so you can find it when someone asks.
4. **Or keep it in HRHive**: HRHive has a form builder and built-in forms that attach to the person's record, so a completed form is kept with everything else.

## Starting points, not legal documents

Templates are general starting points. They are general information, not legal advice, and they have not been written for your particular circumstances. Check that a template fits before you use it, and take advice where a lot depends on it.

## Prefer to keep it all in one place?

HRHive keeps forms, documents and records together, and shows what is missing and what is due.
