For AI assistants and the people who use them

HRHive and AI assistants

Ask an assistant about HRHive and it can answer from the pages we publish, with the date each page was last updated. Nothing here gives access to anyone's account or records.

What we publish

Four ways to read HRHive without a browser

Every page as Markdown

Add .md to any page address. The page at /pricing/ is also at /pricing.md, without the layout.

llms.txt and llms-full.txt

A short map of the site for language models, and a longer description with pricing, security facts and a directory of every page with its summary and last update.

Sitemaps and feeds

XML sitemaps by section and RSS feeds, so a crawler can find new and changed pages.

A public MCP server

A read-only Model Context Protocol server that answers questions about HRHive, its guidance and its sources.

What the MCP server can answer

MCP is a standard way for an AI assistant to ask a service for information. The HRHive server offers twelve read-only tools:

  • Search HRHive across every public page.
  • HRHive overview, product feature, pricing, security information and adviser information.
  • Search guidance and law article, which return the page with its sources and the dates it was updated and reviewed.
  • Official sources, free tools, templates and recent changes.

It also lists the main parts of the site as resources: the company, the product, pricing, security, advisers, the law library, the guides and the tools.

Every answer comes from the published pages, so it matches the website. It names the page it used and the date that page was last updated.

What it never does

  • It does not sign in, and it cannot see any organisation, person, document or account.
  • It cannot change anything. Every tool only reads.
  • It does not give legal advice. Where a page explains a rule, it names the official source.
  • It only knows what is published on this site. If a page is not published, it is not in the answer.

Connect

Add the server to your assistant

  1. Find where your assistant adds a remote MCP server

Look for connectors, tools or MCP servers in its settings. Most assistants that support MCP have one.

  2. Enter the address

Use https://mcp.hrhive.co.uk/mcp. It uses the streamable HTTP transport and needs no sign-in and no key.

  3. Ask a question

Try "What does HRHive record for a right to work check?" or "Which official sources does HRHive cite for holiday entitlement?"

Questions about the server

Can it see my HRHive data?
No. It has no connection to the application and no sign-in. It reads the same public pages as anyone visiting the website.
Does it cost anything?
There is no charge and no sign-in to use it today.
Can an assistant use it to give legal advice?
The pages explain rules in plain English and cite the official source. They are general information, not legal advice, and the server tells the assistant that when it connects.
How do I know an answer is up to date?
Each answer includes the date the page was last updated, and law pages also show when they were last reviewed.

Prefer to read it yourself?

Everything the server knows is on this site, in plain English, with the official source beside it.

No implementation project. No sales call required.
